REPRODUCTION OF POTATO CULTIVARS IN VITRO ON DIFFERENT NUTRIENT MEDIA

Summary. The study was carried out to assess the efficiency of micropropagation of potato cultivars Lyubava, Nevskii, Tuleevskii, Udalets, Kuznechanka and Nakra on different culture media. The media were: MS (original control), VNIIKKh (the content of sucrose is reduced at 10 g/l and IAA – 2 times, no gibberellic acid, content of kinetin is increased 4 times, 0.02 mg/l ferulic acid and 8-hydroxy quinoline are added), UkrNIIKKh (the content of sucrose is reduced at 20 g/l and IAA – 2 times, the content of gibberellin is increased 3 times and kinetin – 2.5 times, adenine and chlorogenic acid are added), White (the content of sucrose is reduced at 10 g/l, without growth regulators), KemNIISKh and KemNIISKh-2 (were differed from the control by higher content of gibberellic acid). On nutrient media with the content of gibberellic acid more 1.0 mg/l (UkrNIIKKh, KemNIISKh and KemNIISKh-2) the height of potato plants cv. Lyubava, Tuleevskii, Udalets, Kuznechanka in vitro increased by 7.6-24.1%, the number of internodes in varieties Lyubava, Tuleevskii, Udalets, Kuznechanka and Nakra grew by 11.1-56.3%. In vitro micropropagation of potato plants cv. Lyubava, Nevskii, Tuleevskii, Udalets, Kuznechanka and Nakra was most effective on nutrient media VNIIKKh, KemNIISKh and KemNIISKh-2, where the least number of plants with anomalies was noted (3.6-15.7, 2.9-24.7 and 11.9-20.6%, respectively); the propagation coefficient was 3.6-5.5, 4.5-6.0 and 3.8-5.2, correspondingly.
